The initial version of the schedule, unveiled on June 27, indicated that the India–Pakistan showdown would occur on October 15 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Nevertheless, this date has been altered to October 14 due to concerns raised by local law enforcement. The original fixture date would have coincided with the first day of Navratri, a prominent nine-day annual festival celebrated in Gujarat.
Originally planned for October 14, the England game against Afghanistan has been postponed to October 15. Similarly, the New Zealand versus Bangladesh matchup that was initially slated for October 14 has been moved forward to October 13. Notably, this game will now be played under day-night conditions, departing from its originally intended daytime format
